THE WATCH OF THE NOW

Ressence arrives at Watches and Wonders 2026 with a watch that feels both entirely familiar and unmistakably its own. The TYPE 11 is the Belgian brand's most complete watch to date, and it marks a genuine milestone: the debut of the RW-01, the first movement ever designed and developed entirely by Ressence. Built from the ground up to power the patented Ressence Orbital Convex System, the RW-01 and the ROCS are no longer separate entities. For the first time, they are one.

1. The Watch of Now

AN INTEGRATION YEARS IN THE MAKING

In every previous Ressence watch, the movement and the ROCS display module were physically distinct, a consequence of adapting third-party movements to the brand's singular display system. The TYPE 11 changes this entirely. The RW-01's distinctive triangular architecture, defined by two barrels and a central balance wheel, was conceived specifically around the ROCS, allowing components to be shared across both systems. The result is a more efficient, more cohesive and more refined piece of engineering, with titanium ball bearings throughout the ROCS further increasing robustness and elevating the precision of the display.

TIME TOLD DIFFERENTLY

The Grade 5 titanium case carries Ressence's signature convex dial, where rotating discs display hours, minutes, seconds and power reserve without hands, crown or conventional indices. A patented power reserve indication uses ceramic micro-balls in two contrasting tones as an intuitive visual gauge, lighter balls emerging as the watch winds, darker ones returning as power depletes. The 60-hour reserve means the TYPE 11 can be set down on Friday evening and still be running on Monday morning.

PERSONAL BY DESIGN

The TYPE 11 launches in three colourways, Pine, Sky and Latte, each with its own palette of ceramic power reserve balls and a colour-matched seconds marker. Four bracelet options are available, including a titanium Milanese mesh that combines low weight with exceptional breathability. Contemporary without being futuristic, rooted without being retrospective, the TYPE 11 is precisely what Ressence calls it: the watch of the now.
