Marking 75 years of horological leadership, Ahmed Seddiqi and Chopard present a new milestone in their half-century-long collaboration with the L.U.C Qualite Fleurier Seddiqi 75th Anniversary Edition. This 25-piece limited edition is a refined expression of precision, heritage and artistic watchmaking, crafted in honour of the region’s most influential luxury watch retailer.
REDIFINING EXCELLENCE
Encased in 39mm of Lucent Steel™, the new timepiece draws inspiration from the original 2005 L.U.C Qualite Fleurier model (itself a modern reinterpretation of a 1950s Chopard sector-dial watch). Its two-tone dial features a champagne sunburst centre and silvered chapter ring, echoing mid-century design while embracing modern proportions and fine finishing.
The look is completed with rhodium-plated syringe-shaped hands, a small seconds counter at 6 o’clock, and a supple brown calfskin strap with beige topstitching, creating a bridge between vintage charm and contemporary elegance.
MASTERING THE ART OF TIME
At the heart of the watch is the L.U.C 96.09-L calibre, descended from Chopard’s very first L.U.C movement. Measuring just 3.30 mm thick, it features Twin technology (two barrels), a 65-hour power reserve, and a 22k white gold micro-rotor. Meticulous finishing, including Côtes de Genève, circular graining, bevelling, and mirror polishing, qualifies it for both COSC chronometer and Qualite Fleurier certification.

Qualite Fleurier certification is among the most demanding in the Swiss watch industry, evaluating timepieces across five rigorous tests, from chronometric performance to aesthetic and technical finish. Chopard remains the only brand to currently submit timepieces for this certification, underscoring its leadership in upholding Swiss horological standards.
