Moritz Grossmann was part of establishing the watchmaking industry in Glashütte. He passed away in 1885, after which his manufacture was liquidated.
In 2008 watchmaker Christine Hutter re-registered the brand “Moritz Grossmann”. The manufactory has developed a wide range of extraordinary timepieces within the model families BENU, ATUM and TEFNUT. The mechanical movements of the brand represent outstanding technical solutions like the Grossmann manual winder with pusher, the exceptional design of the TOURBILLON and the unique strap winding mechanism.
With innovation, superb craftsmanship, a combination of traditional and contemporary manufacturing methods as well as precious materials, the Grossmann watchmakers are celebrating Pure Watchmaking Artistry since 1854.'
