The UR‑101 Diamond Sky
The UR‑101 Diamond Sky emerges from URWERK’s inner creative vault, a place where the brand safeguards the watches that shaped its identity. Conceived as a resurgence rather than a reinterpretation, it embodies the Maison’s philosophy of treating time as a path and light as a narrative medium. The piece reflects URWERK’s desire to move beyond traditional norms, blending watchmaking with artistic expression in a way that feels instinctive rather than ornamental. Its engraved surfaces and luminous points draw inspiration from poetic visions of the night sky, transforming the watch into a symbolic landscape where design, emotion and imagination converge.
The UR‑101 Diamond Sky revives one of URWERK’s earliest creations as a 25‑piece edition, sliding time across a 180‑degree wandering‑hours arc beneath a diamond‑studded celestial vault. Its engraved steel case forms a geometric constellation set with 214 D‑E‑F VVS+ diamonds totaling 1.63 carats, turning the watch into a structural map of light rather than decoration. Retaining URWERK’s original DNA, satellite display, crown at 12, angular lugs and radical legibility, it is powered by the UR‑1.01V self‑winding calibre with a 48‑hour reserve.
