THE BIVER AUTOMATIQUE FOR DUBAI WATCH WEEK

SIX NEW EXPRESSIONS OF THE AUTOMATIQUE

Biver introduced six new Automatique references at Dubai Watch Week 2025, expanding the model’s disciplined architecture with artisanal finishing and natural stone. Together, these launches show how a pure design supports a wide vocabulary of craft, colour, and texture, while remaining unmistakably part of the same lineage.

AUTOMATIQUE TWO-TONE: A SUBTLE EDITION IN METAL

The Two-Tone Automatique introduces a refined interplay between warm and cool metals. An 18k rose-gold case is complemented by a dial in PD210 white gold, a palladium-rich alloy with a lighter, more nuanced undertone. With the crown, bezel, and buckle also crafted in rose gold, the result is a quiet and coherent contrast that aligns with the Automatique’s restrained aesthetic. The watch is offered on a Pomari calf-leather strap or an optional rose-gold bracelet.

AUTOMATIQUE CLOUS DE PARIS: ELEVATING A CLASSIC PATTERN

This platinum reference marks the Automatique’s first use of hand-executed guilloché. Its deep-blue dial combines sunray finishing with concentric Clous de Paris rings, each cut by hand on century-old machines. The varying ring sizes create a seamless transition across the dial, while hands and hour markers in 18k white-gold, together with a blue chemin de fer, complete a piece that boasts classical craft with contemporary clarity.

AUTOMATIQUE MAHOGANY OBSIDIAN: WARMTH DRAWN FROM VOLCANIC EARTH

In the Atelier Series, the mahogany obsidian Automatique introduces a dial crafted through natural volcanic forces. Housed in 18k rose gold, its polished surface reveals a dynamic mixture of deep black, red, and orange tones, creating exceptional depth as light moves across it. Rose-gold hands and markers, with the option of a matching bracelet, underscore the stone’s rich and atmospheric character.

AUTOMATIQUE OEIL DE FER: A MINERAL PALETTE WITH NATURAL FORCE

The Oeil de Fer edition, presented in 18k yellow gold, brings a contrasting matte texture to the collection. Its mineral surface is defined by powdery black and brown veins, accented by streaks of orange, red, and sunflower yellow. The warmth of the yellow-gold case, hands, and markers complements the stone’s earthy palette, resulting in a reference that feels grounded yet organically expressive.

AUTOMATIQUE BLUE QUARTZITE: FROZEN TONES IN A PLATINUM SETTING

The blue quartzite Automatique, housed in platinum, is distinguished by its cool, crystalline surface. The dial resembles a frozen expanse, with icy blue tones flecked by white fragments and crossed by deeper mineral veins. Three dial executions are offered: white-gold markers, baguette-cut diamonds, or baguette-cut blue sapphires, each lending a different complement to the stone’s natural luminosity. All versions are available with a strap and platinum pin buckle or an optional platinum bracelet.

AUTOMATIQUE LAVENDER JADE: SOFT HARMONY IN STONE

Soft and understated, the lavender jade references pair their platinum cases with a semi-matte dial in delicate pink-violet hues. Subtle natural inclusions give the stone quiet depth, while two configurations – white-gold markers or baguette-cut diamonds – offer distinct expressions of refinement. A platinum buckle and optional bracelet maintain the serenity and balance of the design.
