Ibrahim Ahmed SeddiqiLate Chairman
The late Ibrahim Ahmed Seddiqi along side his father, the late founder Ahmed Qasim Seddiqi, laid the foundations for Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons to flourish and become the successful company it is today.
Born in 1939 as the eldest of Ahmed Qasim Seddiqi’s children, he was introduced early on to the world of fine watch-making thanks to his father’s passion.
When Ibrahim Seddiqi completed his studies in 1960, he joined Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons to deepen his involvement with the business he had watched grow and develop. Each Friday father and son would spend the time going through the account and shipment logs.
Ibrahim Seddiqi was privileged to work with Ahmed Qasim Seddiqi, the late founder, who instilled in him enthusiasm and passion for the brands and the Swiss watch industry.
Ibrahim Ahmed Seddiqi was appointed as chairman in 1980. When he passed away in 2007 he left a legacy of quality, trust, and impeccable service and attention to details.
He was dedicated to his family of four boys and three girls and when he had spare time he loved to read, becoming an expert on a wide range of topics.
The tradition of family embracing the company’s values and goals has continued, with his sons Mohammed, Qassim and Osama holding senior roles at Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons.
His granddaughter, Muna, is the creative force behind Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons’ branding, and was the first member of the fourth generation to join the company.
