CHANEL Watches, are first and foremost, CHANEL creations before being timepieces. They respect the CHANEL’s cultural codes - Simple aesthetic codes with great formal freedom: black, white, pearls, quilting, white gold, diamonds; purity, surprise, and true chic for line.

The story began at Place Vendome in the private mansion which once belonged to the Duke of Westminister, one of the men who had a large effect on the life of Mademoiselle Chanel.

Next it moves to the Swiss watch making valleys, where CHANEL set up a watch manufacture and workshop meeting its demands for quality &  authenticity. Whatever the watches size, materials or setting - it continues on the wrists of all those who consider that a timepiece represents much more than just an object for telling time.

It is known that Gabrielle Chanel never fancied women's watches of her time. She was attracted to the aesthetics of men's timepieces. The J12 is the modern illustration of this idea - a style both sporty & masculine with High-tech ceramic - has become a permanent instrument of time, which has over the years been endowed with the most refined mechanical 'complications'.

The story has only begun between CHANEL and timepieces. Twenty years after the launch of the Premiere in 1987, the magic still continues. And, from now on, in the empire of signs where we live & in the sea of images which is imposed upon us, a watch expresses the very essence of a personality, a conception of elegance and as Gabrielle Chanel said - one's better than any other object of adornment.
